We need help!
Sometimes our shelter is so full, we have to rely on rescue groups who transport our doggies to other states where they find loving forever homes (other states have stricter spay/neuter laws and there is sometimes a waiting list for people who wish to adopt!).
The law requires all dogs be examined by a licensed vet, all shots up to date, fecal tests, and a heartworm test if they're old enough. In addition to the vet fees, there is a $30 Health Certificate which is their "passport" to travel. The vets who work with us give us a discount, but the bills quickly add up. In the past few months, we have paid $1152.50 just for rescue fees.
Please help us replenish our bank account so we can continue to help dogs like Clementine, Sage, Piper, Tim, Domino, Lady, six 3-day old pups, Luna, Colt, Reed, and Boog. Thank you!
Ozzie has something to say. Please help with our vet bills!
These past few months we have taken in dozens of cats and kittens. Many came to the shelter with upper respiratory and eye infections and needed to be examined by a vet and prescribed antibiotics. We have paid $1013 in the last three months, and that doesn't include routine spay/neutering. Please help so we can continue to help all the kitties who need us!
